I joined a time ago, but couldn't realy find much on the download section. Got buy with my studies, but found some time now, but again, I only see a few files (like the trees and foundations), but most categories are empty (no posts in the subforum)

Ok, i got it, seems like you need more posts for it. Nice way to encourage participation, so I will . But you maybe could point it out somewhere, or dit i miss it?

Anyway, nice forums and clean structure of the forums, about the creations I can't comment on them yet

Actually, there's no post number requirements to be able to download, only an account registered. However, not all categories have been filled with new downloads yet as most of these projects are still in development, and not yet ready for a release.
