We are happy to announce that our spambot countermeasures has worked out excellent, resulting in 0, (zero), accounts created since the introduction. While some members have had problems registering an account with Simuscape, (mostly due to not reading the informative guidance provided), the CAPTCHA along with the initial introduction post has proven to be quite efficient in preventing spambots to enter our site. It is without a doubt a feature that needs to be permanently implemented into our system.

To improve our information to potentially new members arriving to Simuscape, we have added a direct link below the header, leading to an informative post with a complete guidance on how to solve the CAPTCHA and how to proceed with the initial introduction post! This direct link is only visible to guests and members logged off!

At least 250 attempts by spambots to register and gain access to Simuscape has been recorded these past few days, but none of them managed to bypass our spambot countermesaures! This is again a valid proof that our system work as intended allowing us to offer a spambot free zone altogether!
