Wikiscape CataloguesTransport Tycoon Deluxe Developments & DownloadsChris Sawyer's Transport Tycoon, released in 1994, and Transport Tycoon Deluxe, released in 1995, places the player in charge of a business transport company, competing against rival companies by transporting passengers and goods by rail, road, see and air. Both videogames were developed by Chris Sawyer, presented in an isometric view in 2D with graphics by Simon Foster, and published by MicroProse. While videogames at that time didn't offer any customizable options for a more personal gameplay experience, later developments within the Transport Tycoon community performed especially by Josef Drexler has resulted in an open source clone of the game. Transport Tycoon Deluxe is still played world wide by loyal fans, and the ability to customize the game has allowed for additional custom files to be added for a more personal touch.
